Credit Hours

The ASPMF is comprised of (3) didactic courses and (3) clinical courses, with each course being 3 credit hours in length for a program total of 18 college credit hours applied to a non-degree program. MTSA recognizes this fellowship as a half-time program.  The fellowship is a year long continuing education program, with students enrolling at a half-time status.  The formula for determining a course load with contact hours is based on MTSA Credit Hour Policy that adopts the federal credit hour definition.

The Fellowship is 12 months in length at a half-time status.  MTSA defines full-time status as enrollment in 9 or more credit hours in a semester, half-time status is defined as enrollment of 6-8 credit hours in a semester and enrollment less than 6 hours is considered a less than half-time status.
